The Miami VA Healthcare System Parent Facility is located on 26 acres in the Miami Civic Center Medical Complex. There are two satellite clinics located in Key West and Sunrise. In addition, Miami has Community Based Clinics located in Pembroke Pines, Key Largo, Hollywood, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs and Homestead. The Miami VA Healthcare System has a large community-based Substance Abuse Clinic/Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program, which operates five miles away in downtown Miami.
