The Des Moines VA Regional Office provides Compensation, Pension and Vocational Rehabilitation and Counseling services for all military veterans in the State of Iowa. The Des Moines VA Regional Office currently provides approximately $260 million in benefits to the approximately 270,000 veterans in Iowa.

The Des Moines VA Regional Office is located in the Des Moines Federal Building at the corner of 3rd and Walnut Street in Downtown Des Moines. Parking is available in the City parking ramp behind the building (south side). Visitors can enter at the front of the building (north side) at street level or on the second level on the Skywalk entrance (west side).

The Regional Office is located on the 9th and 10th floors of the Federal Building. Visitors should go to Room 1049 on the 10th floor. Vocational Rehabilitation and Service organizations are located on the 5th floor.
