The Oakland VARO provides benefit services for Veterans residing in northern California. Interviews and walk-in services are available each weekday during the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Please arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.as possible for complete service. The jurisdiction includes all Northern California, except for Modoc, Lassen, Alpine and Mono counties, which are assigned to the Reno Regional Office. All Loan Guaranty activities are under the jurisdiction of the Phoenix Regional Office. Seven service organizations are collocated on the eleventh floor of the Federal Office building occupied by the regional office.
