The VA Sunshine Healthcare Network, also known as Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. VISN 8 health care is delivered through a system of eight hospitals (two of which are integrated). Geographically, the network spans approximately 63,400 square miles that inclues more than 1.7 million veterans throughout Florida, Southern Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
